Past few days cause its cold when starting up and putting my lights on it squeeks like its the belt to the alternator. The headlights dim and go brighter when i rev a bit.

New battery time?

could be the belt slipping, check the belt for cracks (new belt needed if old one is cracked) on the v grooves and then tighten the belt up if the belt is ok

belt is about 2 month old done about 2000 miles with it perhaps. How do i tighten it up??

with the alternator. loosen the two pivot bolts under the alternator, then working above the alternator loosen the locking bolt (14mm iirc, maybe 12mm) then tighten the bolt which points towards the block (10mm or 12mm), until the belt is at the required tension. then re-tighten the locking bolt and both pivot bolts. job done.

loosen the alternator and move it so it tightens the belt, though too tight and you'll cause excessive wear to the belt and bearings, when you push down on it, it should have a 5cm or so of movement

aint got a clue how to do that i gonna take it garage i think.

only 2 bolts that hold the alternator on, loosen them and slide the alternator away from the engine
