Squeaking from Brakes

Hey guys!
I've recently gained some squealing coming from the March's front passenger side. I've felt the brake discs and they're not badly pitted, or not too worn, so I'm thinking pads? It's like metal squealing upon metal.
It's not just when I'm braking either, it's pretty much every time I turn, but considering the brakes turn with the wheels that might affect it?
ANy ideas?? :grinning:

if its the pads, you best get them checked before they wreck the discs eh if not, a trapped pebble maybe ?

my grandmother had a problem like yours and my dad had a good look and it was just some debris that got stuck there.

Well dad and me are having a looksie on Saturday, seeing whats what. I can't really afford new pads, but I suppose I'm gonna have to find a way! Do Halfords or similar motor factors sell stuff like Green STuff or EBC?

i dont know about halfords selling anything half decent but i do know that i had a squealy squeaky front right brake turned out the brake pads were just filthy so put some copper grease on the back of em and no more mice on the calipers (Y)
