Speedo and Fuel Gauge Dimmer Switch

Hi Guys!

Thank you for reading my post first of all!

I just got a Micra 2009 and the Fuel Indicator and Speedo's orange backlight is really dim at night when the headlights are on.

Is there a Dimmer switch I am missing because I can't seem to find it anywhere and the dealer I got it from just said " Oh they're all like that" and I was wondering if its true?

Maybe change bulbs for LEDs??

Dont attempt led change,I did an blew the combimeter illumination altogether!! They shouldnt be dim tho,and no dimmer switch that i know of.
