Spark Plugs - feeler gauge and what tool to use to remove plugs?

I have just bought some Nissan spark plugs for my K11 Micra 1.3 Super S.

What gap do i use for the feeler gauge?

And what size tool do i use to remove the existing plugs?

pop down to halfords and get a spark plug removal socket, think its the 12mm off the top of my head but you can check it a halford with their spark plug guide, also a socket wrench extender.

Also new spark plugs should be set up correctly so i wouldn't personally worry about resetting the gap with a feeler. And finally make sure you use Nissan supplied NGK sparks as they perform the best with the CG engines

nah mate, mike's just stating that Nissan supply NGK's originally, so just buy NGK's...

its what my Motorfactor dude supplys me for my car...

the socket needed for the spark plugs is a 16mm one. maybe the thread of the plug is 12mm?

yes i bought genuine Nissan NGK spark plugs (off ebay of course ;-P)

i'll pop down to Halfords tomorrow and see what removal socket i need.

if you've got to wait for the plugs being delivered, then you might as well buy a spark plug tool off ebay aswell, check this out
