Sounds like wind noise but isn't.

Hello

My 2002 Micra 1.0 started making what I thought was wind noise at about 60mph.

But over the last couple of days the noise...a whining sound...has come back at low speeds, in fact it stops when you apply the brakes and accelerate.

Seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel area.

Does anyone have experience of this please?

Yeah...I'd look at the pads if it stops when you're braking...

Check for a hole in your exhaust

There should be two holes in the exhaust....one at the front and one at the back....
