Smoothed bumpers

Im going to be smoothing my bumpers in the next week or so and want to fill a couple of vents.
Would it be best to melt a plastic plate over the vent or just fill it with fibreglass?

If your able to plastic weld a panel over the gaps,it'll be ALOT easier than piling filler in. Theres two ways really...

Plastic weld a panel and skim with P38
Fibre Glass the gap with P40 and skim with P38
