Short shifter link anyone?

hi thinking about sorting this out for the micra, can someone link me to a good one, struggling to find one?

goldstar made one iirc and it snapped :S lol the weld wasnt strong engough to cope with the force of the throw.

the short shifters are made from steel if memory serves me correct?

i dont know how good his welding was so i have/am welding them together and sleveing to enshure ther strong

also with makeing you own your can have the stick at any lenth

have it high like a rally/race car the have the seat of the rear of the car for weight distrobution, move the steering and pedals closer and it will be awsome

before i met the misses i had the whole lot out apart from 1 buket seat, wheel and pedals and took a grinder to moast of the metal inside....it was light he he he

one of the first jobs i did on my k11,s :glance: ( cut 4 inches off, drill the thread out of the knob, and superglue it on)

Im gunna do something like that, cut it, get a die on it then tap a golf ball to use as a gearknob

i did this to guys but i found it harder than the usual to change gear because ther wasnt enuf leaverage

its realy worth welding the bit that you cut out below the ball, thus giveing you the "short shift"
