Hello,
I recently purchased a 53 plate micra SE 1.5 Dci. Anyway, when driving along - especially in 4th at around 30mph, keeping a constant speed, it judders, as if not getting enough fuel, and the rev counter jumps until I put my food down on the throttle more.
Now I am used to driving petrols and realise that the diesel changes up gears at a higher speed...however, even when in third at 30 (or thereabouts, its not an exact science) it still does it, although not so emphatically.
I was wondering whether perhaps I am doing something wrong? I have tried looking in the manual for the guide gear changes but to no avail and the fact that it does it even in third worries me somewhat.
I know the lady I purchased it from said it goes a long way in second but surely not to 30!
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks!
