screwed !!!!

Hi All, Does anyone know where I can get a new screw for the rotar arm on my my K11 as mine has no method of being screwed back on again as I wore out the cross head on it whilst unscrewing it? Can I replace it with any screw of the same thread & size? or does it have to be same type. Can you help ?????

Either re-tap the hole a size up, or helicoil it, or if not enough metal, then replace the distributer.

And yes you can use another screw as long as it has the same threat and length

Recover the original screw & recut a usable cross head slot in its head in order to reuse it, using a junior hacksaw.

That is, improvise, adapt & overcome a minor snag to keep on rolling along.
