Safe Rev Limit

I'm wondering what is typically a safe amount to rev to? - I find it strange that its limit is 6200 when it makes max HP at 6000. I've pushed to 7000.

What is the CG13 capable of rev wise with reliability in mind?

It has a rev limiter, so that's the highest safe limit

I think the limiter is at 7200. I'm hitting it all the time and my engine seems to be fine, although I got spare.

i,ve seen 6800 and 6900 quoted, which is plenty for mildly tuned 1.3, my modded 1.0 still pulled strongly at well above that tho

I don't think Nissan really intended to give you a safe zone to drive these micras in...

Why do you think they didn't include a rev counter on alot of the micras,

I mean come on, what other small engines are as gutsy as these CG's pulling all the way through the revs happily is what impressed me the most !
