"Rubbing" noise when breaking?

When applying the brakes on my car there is a slight sort of rubbing noise, difficult to describe... Car is a K11 2002 1.0l - just changed pads + discs today and it's still there?

Id say its just your pads bedding in, but if the noise is there before you put on ur new discs and pads - id go strip the back drums and give them a clean mate.

Hang on - if the noise was there before, and it still after it must be something else.

Have you checked your not rubbing ur arches? Also check ur wheel bearings - this could be a problem.

Has gone now as far as I've noticed, was just the pads wearing in!
