Room under facelift bonnet

I'm fitting an almera airbox this weekend. And was wondering if anyone knows how much clearance there is between the top of the almera airbox and the bonnet. The reason I ask is that I want to get a spacer made to lift the throttle body off the manifold to keep it cool.

Also on an aditional note, where is the inlet temperature sensor fitted ?

the t/b is only 100mm tho gary, the inlet mani is about 5 times longer and transfers far more heat than the t/b will
and the ambient air sensor is alongside the maf i believe

Does that mean it would be better to insulate the inlet manifold from the engine ?

gonna have more effect aint it mine,s got 4 gaskets on the head, lagging then loads of silicon sealer then alloy tape (and throttlebody heating delete)
there is a lot of heat rising from the back of the block
