Hello! First time poster, know very little re: cars, please be gentle.
I'm in the throes of buying a car seat for our first child. It's a frikkin' minefield. The kind lady in Babies R'Us pointed out to me that my little 1.0 1999 T Reg 3-door Micra actually has Isofix anchor points on both back seats (I hadn't even considered that it might, due to the age of the car), but she also said that she'd never seen a model this old with Isofix and was fairly sure that it's not factory standard so I'd need to check.
I know that Isofix can be retrofitted to the car; there's nothing mentioned in the documentation we got when we purchased it and I can't find a thing online...does anyone know a) if this model had Isofix as standard or b) if it's been retrofitted, would it be safe enough to use with a modern car seat base?
TIA!
