Yellow 1986 in his profile and MA10S mentioned here make me think it's a BE-1, but specifying what car you actually have might help :p

Your best bet is probably calling up a few jap wreckers around the place (don't be afraid to call interstate - I got my engine from NSW) to see if they have any MA series motors. If anything they'd have the MA09ERT or whatever it was that's in the K10 Super March. You could also try importing one from Japan. Bit more costly but much more choice.

The only MA10S I can find is one that also comes with a car - a K10 Pao :p

I assume he's from aus since a quick google maps search shows that there's a town called Gin Gin in the middle of NSW.

Certainly not the easiest engine to find but it's not impossible.

Edit: I'm a little confused with the S-Cargo.. According to this it uses an E15S however this says it's based on Micra mechanicals. If anything it'd be K10 gear because of the manufacture date, but what K10 used the E15S? Didn't realise there were so few though. Also didn't realise that we only got them as grey imports!

its gonna cost you as no one in aus really needs those motors as they didn't come in anything local

if you're up for it getting some mounts made up to run a micra 1.3 will save you money long term if you're planning on keeping it

although if you're gonna go that far your options are pretty wise as you'll need custom everything

charade turbo 3cyl
toyota 1.6l

etc the list goes on

best of luck, i'm in the same boat as you if my K10 ST engine lets go
