Removing valve stem seals

pull em out with a pair of pliers mate must be caked up with $hit

ive tried that but it just pulled the rubber bit off of the top....

im gonna get some long nose pliers on em..

they,re a sod to get off eh ant, the (only) 2 that you can get a lever under look like they were bonded on to me :glance:

poo...i hope theyre not bonded on, ive nakered 3 of them..lol
i did manage to lever one off with the mother of all screw drivers.... but the others arent going to be easy.

i might take them to an engineering place and have it cleaned and skimmed whilst im at it.

right, got them off (good old pull and twist)

now we tried to put some new ones on and they just split. (the rubber bit came out of the top GRR)

so i need a new set of valve stem seals...

where would be the best place to get them as i got mine in a head set at a cost of £58, so not cheap, but even the mighty google isnt giving me any help!

would it be Sir Matthew Humphris of Oxford esquire?

true, but once i had the hang of it, theyre not that bad realy. (hurts when you slip off and catch your finger in the pliers though) grr
