I have a 2009 Micra 1.4 auto, and Iam having problems with the central locking. It sometimes take three or four presses on the key to lock the drivers door in particular, and sometime it won't unlock on the first press. I have tried both keys and fitted new batteries. My local garage (who I trust inplicitly) have said there might be a problem with the "thingy" under the bonnet or the lock mechanism on the doors. Either way, replacing either of these is very expensive and may not solve the problem. Would it be worth re-programming the keys to see if that helps?
