any one got an idear of what a k10 redlines at?
it is just in had 65 in second and it was reving like a nutter just wonderd what they could do ?

Bit silly as it kills the engine...but

My 1.2 race engine'd K10 with the webers revved past 9k

well seeing as theres no limiter it would rev untill it cant get no faster as in most likely the valves cant open and close in time. which is not very clever on a standard engine. also i have the long ratio gearbox and at 6000rpm 2nd equals 50mph so 65? thats engine killing revs.......poor micra

they will keep on revving untill they go click click click as the valves are doing a dance on the bonnet then bang! if its all standard

well i have a pretty standard k10 1.2 super s and rev mine up no higher than 4k unless i wanna chuck engine parts to whoevers behind me lol

I went 70mph (indicated...) in 2nd gear in my 1 litre once...

Those were the days (increased engine wear damage resulted)

i cringe at that metallic clang you get when you take it above about 5500 sounds horrible in mine
