Rear wiper park position

Dear all,

I've been messing about with my original 1996 K11 rear wiper motor/gearbox assy and managed to get the wiper arm to reliably, automatically park in the horizontal position.

I have perfected the modification and I would like to know if anyone wants to have a replacement motor/gearbox assy to replace the original which parks vertically - sold outright or exchange ?

I might offer this as a service if there are enough takers.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there is a guide on here detailing how to do it

I've seen the guides - one that moves the actuator pin and another that moves the contact disc.

They are well written and easy to follow, however if anyone doesn't fancy doing it / hasn't got the time / just wants a swap out job, then I can help.

Just wondering which method you use as I might be interested

I move the contact disc. I don't like the idea of drilling another hole to reposition the crank pin as the material left on the wheel is too small and I think the pin will work loose and eventually damage the nylon wheel.

Are you looking for one now ? - I have one 'spare'...

seems reasonable , i'd buy one and send my old one once i have fitted yours
