Tried hammer, bolts through the threaded holes, WD40 everywhere.

Still won't come off :S.

there is a little slot in the back of them that you can put a screw driver in to release the auto adjustment, its like a little wheel with teeth on, as the drums wear they make a lip , which is your problem.

You mean the little wheel to adjust the tension of the handbrake??

I got them off anyways, with good old mr. crowbar.

its a tiny little wheel that releases the handbrake auto adjustment, I grinded off the little lip on the drum in my k10 while they were off aswell.
