RC K11 Micra Project

Hi there đź‘‹
I was thinking about about Bildung a RC Nissan Micra K11 (First faclift) based on a Tamiya mb-01 Chassis (225mm wheelbase)

Im Thinking about 3D printing a model for the Cars Body. (Have bought a 3D Printer Just for that Project)
I alredy have found a good prefacelift 5-Door Model i could use as a Base for My Project.

However im Not realy good with Blender thats why i was thinking about maybe 3D scaning my Front end and Putting it on the prefacelift model If that makes sense.

Has anybody Here expireance with 3D scaning and or knows If its a good idea to use a 3D scamed model for this Kind of Project?

Or is there maybe a good 3D model of a First faclift Micra online?

Thanks for Anny Help in advance!

What are your Guys thoughts about my Project?

(Sorry If My writing is a Bit rough im still learning)

Would recommend doing a k12 for a rc car. Wheelbase/foot print, dimensions and chassis, give insane handling. Have a 160sr, and it can beat anything going around those very large motorway entrances and exits. Can drive through them so fast with confidence. Can pull away from cars behind by anything up to 200ms by the time of the exit. Even the basic models have insane handling around corners.

Yes, thought that after I wrote it. It's weird the k12 isn't revered like the k11. The chassis on it is superb. Same one as the renault clios, which included the clio sports models. Can't imagine ever wanting to change mime. Puts a smile on my face every mile. My dad had a k12 1.3 or 1.4 sport, from new when they came out. As a passenger felt like it was on rails, with its firm ride. He preferred the soft and wallowing yaris he bought afterwards. 🤣

I use Polycam for all of my 3D scanning. You have to pay for premium to download any meaningful files, and it certainly takes a little bit of getting used to, but it sure is fun once you get it working!

I wanted to make a model K11 but didn't get enough motivation so I'd love to see where your project progresses to!
