Pre facelift clock

Yeah, the clock in the pre facelift, is it meant to light up at all? I don't like having to look at my phone to know the time

Mine doesnt, but im sure there was a bulb holder behind it when i took out my clocks so im guessing it SHOULD light up...

Kewl, well, I have 2 dial sets, so changing bulbs over shouldn't be a problem, just getting the polarity right is a bit tricky.

Ahhh, i think I've found which slot the bulb goes in, so I'll go experiment soon.

True dat.

Done it. Just needed to change a bulb. The ones on that dial set had been in there for about 95k miles.

Only works when the ignition is on though.

yer it is meant to come on with the ignition, which is why everyones is blown, cause it is on the whole of the cars life!

Well, I have about a billion spare bulbs now, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
