power problem!

had my micra for bwt 3 years nw. had a few problem but that my fault on how i drive...
but no i have this power problem. ill floor it in 2nd n it stick bwt 40ish for a gt few seconds. then the power will b bk on.. why is this make a hell of a different to drive. use to b a little racin machine now feel like im runnin on battreys ?
ill filled the tank with fuel and put red X thoo but no different..

Any ideas ?

wicked man check the coolant temp sensor(resistance)
when was the last service

few months bk. oil change. n plugs n leads.. coolant gadge is fine, dont no bwt the resistance ? were to find it ?
