Pop door system.

i wanna do this soon,

all you need is remote central locking and a couple of solenoids and you away!

check ebay for a few, i can't get on there while im at work...

i think some k11 people have done this! but in a different way as i think they have the buton under the wing mirror. But still, its the same just without the remote control to pop the doors.

Can't find any two door universal ones.

The extra solenoids, would they be on a seperate control to actually pop the door open?

Cause all I can find is this...

yeh they should be seperate, otherwise u'll have to keep running around to shut the passenger door!! lol

Littlewood, those solenoids wont be powerful enough to pull the latch, I have these fitted..http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Electroni...ageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118 they work a treat on my doors, I didnt go for remote opening though, just a button on the door mirror, you can just see the button on this picture.

I think I will probably end up doing it this way .

Seems the best really, just a simple press on a fob for the central locking then the button to pop the door .

Take a bit of advice on this though Littlewood, put some form of remote access to the battery to charge it in case it goes flat for any reason, a lighter plug sort of affair behind the grille is what I'm using, I wish I'd have thought of it before last week, my battery went flat and I couldnt unlock it or pop the doors, I had to lever the door to unlock it and pull the interior door handle to get in, denting the door frame and door slightly in the process.
