oh brilliant..... Italian electronics and american build quality.... what next?
if the americans kept up with the rest of the world when we were moving on in the late 70's none of this would have happened. there would be more fuel left, global warming wouldnt be half as bad as it is getting and they wouldnt need the europeans help in making their cars more efficient....
let me put it this way. in europe the engines in the vauxhall / opel vectra were 1.4,1.6,1.8,1.8D 2.0,2.0D, 2.2turbo, 2.4D 2.6V6, 3.0V6 and 2.8V6D
in america the equivalent GM car of the same size is considered a small family hatchback (its a huuuge car) the chevy cobalt, and starts with a 2.0, 2.4, 2.4Turbo, 2.6V6 turbo 3.6V6...... no diesel.
if they didnt use MASSSSSIIIIVVVEEE engines they would use so much fuel.!
