When you go on Holiday to a hot country for example Egypt, the temperature is usually around 30-40 degrees, what colour clothes do you wear?

What colour cars do you see in places like Abu dabi where it's 40+ in the shade?

I bet it's not black

In California I presume it's quite hot most of the time so driving a Black car will attract the heat and make the driver use the Air-con more therefore using more Fuel. opening the windows and sunroof is a waste of time as the Air surrounding the Vehicle is also hot.

People will moan at this just because their favourite colour is Black and that their car looks better in Black and is of course Black being the fastest colour.

There is no argument against banning Black cars unless the owners pay more for that colour for causing more pollution. There are plenty more colours to choose from so people should stop making a big deal out of it.

What about black cars with no aircon?

Also it doesn't matter what colour clothing you wear, it makes no difference whatsoever to the temperature. I doubt it would make that much difference in a car either

Erm, you have the air con on regardless in most of Cali, I can assure you of that! even in Dads silver Honda Fitt, you have the air on all the time.

of course you could have Black cars without Air-con but you get rather hot in a short time.

Black absorbs heat and white reflects heat but not all of it.

Who's going to pay for all the resprays? Will cost a fortune to re-spray every black car or to replace them. It wont happen.

Its a stupid idea to buy a black car but aint it our choice?? Using aircon in the grand scheme of things is going to make FA difference to global warming. It would be less then a microbe compaired to an elephant...
