Performance Spark Plugs - worth it?

I really dont want to start a new thread because I know this has been covered before. I even remember reading the threads a while back but this 'search' functions so pants I cant find anything!

So anyway I've just recieved my new Magnecor leads but I need to get my hands on some new sparks before she gets fired up, the question is, is it worth breaking the bank on some better quality spark plugs? If so recommendations... Anyone had any good/bad experiences.

Any info's appreciated.

I use ngk platinums and there pretty good and quite cheap and have never faulted me. Ive used iridiun plugs on my old primera/200sx and civics and there also good. depends on your budget really (Y)

my micra has denso iridiums in it, no noticalble economy/ performance difference tbh.
but they cost 60 euro for four and last for 80,000 miles
a regular set cost around 15 euro and have to be replaced every 10,000 miles

so if you intend to keep the car for more than 40,000 miles it makes financial sense if nothing else
