Oil help

Stupid question, when looking at the engine from below which way does the oil filter turn to tighten?

same way as from above im sure, if below and from behind anti clock twist left.

Like I said stupid question got it and hopefully sorted oil leak

when viewing from underneath to the back of the engine as its been said clockwise to tighten anti clockwise to loosen
or as a friend remembers it righty tighty lefty loosey
