one things for sure, it would look the poodles plumbs under any respectable bonnet.

Sweet, remember you'll have to keep moving for it to keep cooling, unless you attach a fan to it..
But im sure you have a problem elsewhere you need to resolve first, as you car shouldnt overheat so fast anyway...

Unless your oil is overheating, there is no real need for this, do you have oil temp. gauge?

what temp should the oil be on a k11 like mine?

As a general rule, between 90-110'C is your normal operating temperature
