Hi all I have just picked up a k11 1.0 16v as I was driving it home I was overcome by an urge to smile and I instantly got why these little cars are so popular. However I noticed there is a rough noise driving in forward gears but not reverse.
I thought at first it was just because the car had been stood for 8 months and it would pass after a bit of a run but is still there. I am a bit concerned that its a gearbox problem but not sure where to start.
The car has just been giving 12 months MOT with no advisories so I'd of thought if it was a problem with wheel bearings or something similar that would have been picked up on the test.
I have looked at the other threads but getting a bit confused as they all seem to point to different possible causes.
Does anyone have any experience of this problem and can you offer some advice on sorting out my happy place.
