New number plate advice

I'm wanting to get myself a new front number plate for my K11.

I was thinking along the lines of this:

The cheapest I can find for the above is:

£12.50 without a fixing kit (the sticky pads behind the plate)
Or
£16.50 with the fixing kit included

My questions are:

1) Does anyone know if having that little slogan at the bottom of the plate is road legal ?

2) Can anyone recommend/find anywhere which would be cheaper ?

3) If having the slogan at the bottom is legal, which do you think is best ?

i think your alright mate... loads of people do it, garages, autoshops...

my mate has his email there...
also if they have private plate it usually repeats the word in actual anglais...

it is illegal though anything like that is, but i dont see the point as some people have probaly got some king of nissan on there numberplate as a advertisment for there branch

get one saying "Edited off copper and go and catch some real criminals" that would probably get you it trouble

or "dont laught at my car, i Edited youre daughter in this last night"

you can get sticky pads to hold plates on from halfords. Usually only a couple of quid a packet! Quite useful if you stick it on wrong and need to do it again

I guess I'll get some of them sticky pads from Halfords and shop around a load of places to get a good deal for the plate.
