New Car Insurance groups

No longer 1-20, but 1-50

I wondered when they were going to introduce the 1-50 system, it's been showing up on the database for a few years now!

Good news for me though, the Primera has gone from being in the 70th %ile of insurance groups to the 56th!

I assume older cars don't have that information available though. Pre-facelift K11s certainly don't after a quick look on there!

Mine seems to be not too bad. Only cost me £60 to change over to the Avensis.

The groupings are there as a guide and they vary from company to company, do not worry to much about them, concentrate more on claim free driving!

just checked my pre facelift on my phone, still group 3. was group 3. haha
