new axle cost??

How much is it for a new axle from Nissan? I need one for rear disc brakes

Also what is the main difference between the normal axle and the disc axle?

not sure of the exact differences but they are different, ie the disc axle will have brackets for caliper fitment etc..
from nissan it would probably cost more than the value of your car.! but let us know what the price is when you have asked. salavge is the best option but will have to wait ages for one to turn up probably, or never at all.

thought it would be a lot! yeh, will let you know. I'm gonna b v lucky to get one from a breakers aren't i.

just wanted to also know if you can modify a standard one to take the discs? guessin it wouldn't be as safe or someting.

i'm getting one from a super s for my rear disk convertion... cost more for the postage cos it weighs 22kg!!

but they arn't easy to get hold off and i was lucky

you can get motorsport upgrade conversion brackets for about £20 each. do a search for the company and details, it may be on here aswell.
