need help

Hi folks
just joined as in need of help
1996 micra auto 1.0....broken the nats transponder antenna. part number ( siemans 28590 09915, nats 2, 4 wire)

as far as I can tell part is obsolete, been searching, ringing aroundbreakers etc, for hours with no luck
anyone that can help me out, be much appreciated, need the car back on the road asap..
whilst searching, noticed there was someone on here that can supply an ecu that disables the need for the nats….is this still available and an option...ie, simple case of just swapping the ecu, plug/play type.
many thanks in advance

Get a new ecu with transponderring, nats thing and chip in the key and swap it all.

And yes this is a hasstle and parts are hard to find as most breakers dont stock it and just scrap it.

ed,s ecu,s are plug and play, if he has any in stock (fusion)
yours is probably the early nats 2 type with the nats box behind the heater

thank you, is fusion the co name and does he advertise on here.....willing to go for it as will speed the process up....contacted a few local auto locksmiths for advice and reprogramming, none answered or got back to me yet....

quick update...
after hours of searching, phone calls etc....have finally located and bought a kit....
contains lock/key, ecu, module for immobiliser and the antenna...can anyone confirm the following...

am I missing anything?

can the antenna be reprogrammed so can keep everything else as is?

worse case scenario, swap it all over, can secure the replacement lock/key/antenna out the way with key installed, that way she can just have the original keys/lock.....i realise this means immobiliser is effectively disabled but that wont be an issue.

Should be all. You can swap everything over and swap the chip in the key or get the key reprogrammed. That way you can only swap the transponder ring but you need to find somebody with the proper equipment. Not even all the dealers still have it.

thank you....have a few mobile auto locksmiths around this area, have contacted a few that haven't got back to me yet, but plenty more to choose from....even have my own kit which may work, has NATS capability, but as I have never used it before, id rather someone came and did it for me....last thing I need is to do it wrong and end up back at square one....

back to square 1 if the syncing does,nt work eh
ecu/chip/antenna are pretty easy to swap, the nats box inside the A pillar is a bit awkward behind the heater tho iirc

with my luck atm...anything can happen …..will probably swap all the wiring over, test the ignition/key etc to make sure all ok...then go through the process of swapping the hardware

i think ed virginised my white k11 ecu when he fitted the daughterboard, so it latched onto my red k11 transponder when fitted
then it would,nt run when fitted back to the original car

just realised, if I swap it all about, I will have to change the lock too anyway...as it needs ignition to energise the antenna...doh….brain been seriously fuzzled last couple of days......off to the pub.......oh...…..hang on a min  :)

If you mean the door locks, sometimes ECU sellers include a set that matches the key (if they're breaking the car) and if not you could always just carry 2 keys to save the hassle of taking the door trims off and dealing with moisture issues since it's hard to replace the door film properly

update.
got all the lock/key/control module and ecu.
after a call to a tech that supplies/updates all my diagnostic soft/hardware, regarding the nats 2, I was happy that I could sort it out without getting myself into further issues.
I ended up just changing the Antenna.
I plugged my machine in, cleared the codes in engine system and nats system, then ran a nats system test, came back as fine.
then ran a c/u initialisation and all is good, car up and running with original keys and ecu etc.
not 100% sure the diagnostic was necessary, got a feeling as i was using original keys etc, that just keeping ignition on for 5/10 mins while I was going through the processes, the Antenna synched itself to the original system.
either way, car is back on the road.

anyone looking for an ecu/immob control module and an ignition lock with one key, let me know....obviously missing the antenna, but can vouch for the fact if your old one is working, its a simple process to synch with the other parts.
