I think that my undercarriage is on its way out and is going to need some welding. Is there anything I can do to make my undercarriage last longer without welding?

9 times out of 10 if you think its on its way out then it is bud im affraid and it will need welding. you could remove the rust with the grinder but chances are you will just leave a hole after and it will need welding regardless and its a waste of time slapping underseal on as the problem is still there and the rust will keep eating away at the good metal
so if i were you i woud sort the problem out and have it sorted before it becomes a bigger problem
When the rot takes hold the only thing to do is cut it out and weld it!
