My standard micra - at a track day!

I was booked on a weekender track day with the Nissan 200sx owners club this summer.

Small issue - My Jaguar XJR was broken. My dolomite turbo was in bits.......

Only one thing for it then......

Yep, took the old dear for a day out - this car is just the best. all day I went out hammering it and overtook a few 200sx owners due to just hustling it because ... well i dont care! (

Oddly..... The micra is more prepped for track than you might think.

Done a few track days and quite a few trips to the nurburgring but hammering round a under tyred under powered car with comedy suspension lean was fantastic.

The previous owner had fitted the following to a 1995 1.3 lx

Short Shifter
Brembo disks
EBC greenstuff pads !
Goodrich hoses
New clutch

We added a suble modfiction that was knocking around the workshop
----

And off i went !

Like a boss. I always tell to people that I had more fun on track in my Micra than in a Porsche. Do you have vids from your nurburgring tour?
