My speedo is nonfunctional.

Noticed the speedo does'nt work on my K11. Petrol guage, eng temp guage work but just not the speedo. Checked the cable into the gearbox and everything seems fine.Anywheree else i should check? Anyone had this problem?

Are you sure its not the cable? i would change it just in case

Could possibly be the dials them self, like the pin, or spring?

you need to check if the cable is spinning when the car is moving first really :grinning:

remove speedo from the gearbox, pull the cable out. if the whole cable comes out thats not your problem...

Cheers thought about doing that. Looks like that must be the culprit!

seen this problem before with the prefacelifts...it should be cable, as ive changed the dials in one before and the speedo still didnt work!

just go to the scrapyard and do the same to a micra there, pull the cable out through the bottom, just make sure when you put it back in that it goes right in...give it a little twist and it should slot into the back of the dials
