I'm using the Olympus E500. Mainly because of the quality of lenses they have developed, and the 4/3 system looks better (in my opinion) than the smaller Canon CMOS sensors.

The dust filter is such a good idea, changing lenses is less worrying.
Yeah it's an 8mp camera. Although, i had the Canon 20d and the colour and sharpness is much better on the Olympus than on the Canon (i think).
The Canons tend to over expose images. So the colours I guess will look a little dull. My old Nikon D70 under exposed which gave me really dark images. But my new Nikon D200 is fine.
Btw, does the white dials in the 160SR glow white at night?
No, the dials light up orange. Looks funky though!
I was considering the D70 and the 30D but i wanted to start from scratch with a new system. The E500 is very light too. I got fed up carrying the 20D and Battery grip around, and the Eos1. Too heavy.
