My lever is stuck on recirculate air, what can I do?

I have always had it set to take new air into the car but I moved it over to recirculate and now it won't slide back over to take new air in.
I'm worried that eventually mould spores will build up in the vents and the car will start to smell.

I dont know where the valves are in a rhd car but in a lhd they are near the passenger footwell. The valve gets stuck sometimes. Just give iT a little push and iT should be Good Again. You can follow the cable seeing That its mechanical and not electric.
