well, after putting on me air filter, i noted all the rust at the bottom at at cross member, anyways, i decided to take off the bumper, lights n wig, and look at the state of it:

i mean, ive seen worse but if your like me n still learning ya micra trade, check your crossmember as it may be worse than this lol!

i need to get a new one too, apparently its gotta split in it or summit. its an advisory on me MOT, so i gotta get it sorted pretty soon. i wish i could give my uncle 30 quid nd he'll sort it. lol

cost me a friggin arm and a leg when i got it done. See if you can get it sprayed same colour as your car - will last longer and ppl might not thinks its been in an accident

Im in the middle of replacing the crossmemeber on the missus car, she hit a bollard, but TBH it was lucky really that it was rusted through, coz the rust gave way before it twisted any bodywork.

new one cost me £18.21 from my local panel place

Nice and holey,lol. I should really check mine. Car was in for an MOT couple of months ago and they never mentioned it. Touchwood its ok.

Lower Front Crossmember (but it works out £32 inc VAT and Delivery)

the place i got mine from does does there own Local delivery and they are in Maldon Essex.

Have you tried your local car spares shop, you can get the entire front panel, they are bout £50 from ebay.
