Mounts

Hey Guys, I'm planning an engine conversion- 1.0 to a 1.3 k11 engine, and I was just wondering if the gearbox mount for the 1.0 box is the same for the 1.3 box? And if it is'nt how hard is it to change? Any replies much appreciated, thanks guys, Ben

The 1.3 mount is different and I think that you need a bit more than that to put the 1.3 box in.

and does anyone know if a CGA3DE gearbox is a straght swap for a post 2000 CG10DE?

Thanx dudes, any more information of anyone? only I'm supposed to be picking up an engine this week, and need to be sure i can fit it, Ben

You can fit it with the 1l gearbox, which will actually make it quicker and last as long as you don't go too mental with it.
The member known as "mph" may be able to help you with more info on the post 2000 boxes.
