Took my K10 for an MOT yesterday, keep in mind the only thing that has been done to it in the last year is the rust filled. It failed because my fog light didn't work, so I got out my tester and realised it was the wiring, so I got creative with some speaker wire and some pliers and got it working in the car park then went back and they gave me a retest straight away, don't have to worry about that for another year
2 advisories though, front brakes scored and exhaust needs replacing.

lol nice one ive been lucky and never failed a mot but ive always had advisory notes every bloody time!

I'm always doing quick fixes for my MOT, on my mondeo I used a paperclip on the MAF sensor to pass the emissions, I replaced it after but it did the trick.

LOL! I've got my MOT on tuesday but hopeing it will be ok. Never even had an advisory ever since owning the car
