micra mixture screw

Hi,
Being a new member, having read many different threads, suggests there`s a great deal of knowhow ,amongst members,so what in your opinions, is the best way to remove the outer part of the tamper, with a view to adjusting the mixture scrw with ease on the micra k10.
Or diamensions of the tool used the job with

Cut a V in a medium size flathead screwdriver. Why do you want to remove this? Failed idle emissions?

hmm, I just cut mine off with something like this:
But it aint easy and you don't wanna bend the stuff etc.
Best to indeed make a V shape on screwdriver or somenthing

be 4 u start ajusting anything u will need a gas anuliser 2 put it in yr exhausts or if u dont have 1 u can nip down 2 a garage that does MOTs they can ajust it 4 u and plus i got the corect tool 2 do it
