Micra issues :(

I have a 1999 1.3 manual micra and when you are putting under load leaving junctions and stuff it pulls out then all of a sudden cuts out and takes a few turns of the key to start again, getting a little dangerous!! Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I have had two causes of this on cars I have owned, granted they weren't Micra's but it might help. First was an Astra GTE and it was caused by faulty ignition leads. Second was a Ford fiesta and it was a fuel starvation problem. Hope this points you in some helpful direction.

I am thinking it might be a coil pack or maby leads or something but I know absolutly nothing about these engines, ill have to use my other car for work this week and get a proper look at it at the weekend :/
