Micra ecu's

Im looking to get a bit more out of my 1.0 1998 road micra. I have been told that fittim2g a 1.3 ecu should make a slight increase on performance.

I know the 1.0 isnt the quickest of engines but im not in a position to go and change the whole engine.

Would the 1.3 ecu be a straight swap or would I need all of the key barrel and transponder unit also?

Just fitting the 1.3 ecu won't do anything, to get the best out of the 1.0 you'll want 1.3 cams, frankspeed mani, second decat and a good induction kit
