My mother in law fetched up in her 1.4 Auto, after being here for a week she said she had to fill the car up ...after 200 miles, apparently that's what micra auto do mpg wise, 23 to the gallon according to Nissan in NI.
Started to fault find it , removed air intake and the filter was solid, I mean I couldn't blow through it, Replaced and guess what 42 mpg. Having checked the Oil, Filter ( dated 2012) I suspect that the full service from Nissan was little more than seeing that she does 2500 miles per year and parking the car out the back and then saying all done for you, that's £160 please.
She has been taking the car there once a year since she bought it.....full service not.
