as the clutch plate wears thinner, the cable tension gets tighter over time if ignored.
if the clutch is slipping and the bite point is very high, try loosening the clutch cable tension via the thumbscrew at the end of the cable below the battery tray until the bite point is below 1/2 way.
clutch cable adjustment should be an annual routine.
for cold heater matrix, check if the control cables connecting the dial to both the diverter vane and the coolant valve has shifted or slipped off it's mount and needs adjusting. also check if the heater matrix isn't hydraulically blocked from debris/corrosion due to lack of coolant service and if the fins are blocked from rubbish if there's no pollen filter.
