what about hose clipping the 2 hangers together on both sides?

Smaller rubbers should sort you out. The rubber is probably just a bit baggy for you mate, you just need smaller ones

Yeah true, don't like baggy rubbers have to be tight, found these in hellfrauds but link won't work so it's the smaller 45mm one??

my janspeed box used to move about alot n rattle against the susp. so i wedged a thick wooden block between the boot floor & top of the backbox then ziptied over the rubber hangers to tension them. now the backbox is solid n silent
