My wife's K12 1.2s has had a stalling and idling problem for a while now. Diagnostics showed no faults logged and cleaning the inlet and throttle had no effect.
It turned out that one of the exhaust gas sensors, although reading correctly at medium to high engine speeds, was reading very low at low gas flow (low engine speed). As engine speed decreased below about 1300rpm, the output voltage would drop too far which presumably made the ECU that the engine had stopped.
The exhaust gas sensor was replaced and the car now runs well
NB. There are 2 exhaust gas sensors.
