it shouldn't really affect the overall wheel diameter therefore ride height if you mix the alloy dia/tyre height ratio correctly to maintain the original overall size.

eg. i moved from 175/70/13 to 195/50/15 maintaining the overall diameter of 576mm, which makes my speedo reading spot on against the gps

Jup, you should't have any problems at all :)

Although fitting 15" rims will optically make your car look like a jeep if you'll not lower it later :)

I also moved from original wheels 155/70/13 to 195/45/15 and lowered the car using H&R spring kit and there is no problem at all. Even when having passengers beside ;)

Here's a usefull page containing many links covering that topic:

http://www.forum.nissan-si.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2627

In that topic you'll find many useful links (wheel fitment, tyre stretch, rolling radius and speedometer error calculator, ideal rim-width calculator...)

I know it's Slovene, but the links are all in english ;)

BTW, if want to see how a K11 looks on 15" 7J rims and lowered 30mm here's a link to my presentation:

See ya,
Alex

the overall dia would be 556mm, pretty similar to the stock 155/70/13 at 547mm so speedo reading would still read like 3-5mph higher

i prefer my 195/50/15 576mm outer diameter cos it revs lower on motorways, correct speed reading, fills the arches better
