Lowering help !?!

I was wanting to lower my micra , but all the springs you can buy aren't short enough and adjustable coilovers are to expensive right now. I need to go about 60mm lower so was thinking of cutting the springs will this make the shocks bottom out? I've heard of using corsa shocks for the back but does this allow for much more damping? And what about the fronts?. If anyone can help please get back thanks.

Put Suzuki Alto rear springs on the front and rear along with Corsa B rear shocks to give you a 50mm drop if you're a bit strapped. This should give you an OK ride and stop it looking like a monster truck.
